TOP EDGE INLAY
The Walnut top edge inlay provides a refining touch when added to a contrasting specie custom drawer box. In addition, this option may also be combined with Contrasting Sides & Ends.

SIDES & ENDS
Contrasting wood species on the sides and ends of your custom drawers will help to highlight the custom dovetail joinery. That is to say, this makes the dovetail joint really “pop” when the custom drawer box is opened! For example, choosing Walnut ends with Hard Maple sides, provides a terrific contrast.

TOP LIP
A contrasting top lip specie adds an extra touch of class. For instance, a Walnut top lip on a Hard Maple custom dovetail drawer box provides a beautiful contrast. You can choose to have this feature on the top edge of the sides only, or on the sides and ends of your custom size drawers! This option will set your cabinetry in a class of its own and provide additional appeal to your high-end clientele.

Walnut Top Edge Inlay

This design offers an 1/8″ wide Walnut Top Edge Inlay on the sides of the custom drawer box
to offer a unique, refining touch. This option best compliments maple drawer box sides.

The top edge inlay is only offered in Walnut.
It may only be placed on the sides of the drawer box.

Contrasting Sides & Ends

Mixed Specie

This drawer box offers a distinctive high end look that has a contrasting specie on the
front and back of the drawer box.

An example would be; maple sides with a walnut front and back.

This look highlights the dovetail joinery, whether it is a half blind or through joint.

Contrasting Top Lip

Mixed Specie

This drawer box offers a unique look that is designed to have a top lip that
contrasts the sides of the drawer box.

An example would be; maple sides with a walnut top lip.

The lip can be on 2 sides (sides only) or all 4 sides (sides, front, and back).

The standard lip height is the thickness of the sides.

For a drawer box with 1/2″ thick sides, the height of the lip would be 1/2″.
For a drawer box with 5/8″ thick sides, the height of the lip would be 5/8″.
Customers may also request a custom height top lip.
