Cutlery Tray |
| |
Cutlery trays are designed to
fit inside a standard drawer box and can be removed. Six (6)
standard designs are offered; however, custom designs can
also be constructed with customer supplied drawings. Trays
are constructed as follows;
- 3/8” thick sides and interior members, with eased
top edge.
- 1/4” thick matching bottom (Lenga uses birch plywood
bottom).
- Tray height is custom made to be 1/8” lower than
the top of the drawer box.
- If a standard design is not specified, it will be automatically
selected based on the width of the cutlery tray.
- The minimum depth for CT1, CT2, and CT3 designs is 15”.
If a cutlery tray is less than 15” it will automatically
be converted to a CT1B, CT2B, or CT3B design.
- Custom designs can be constructed if a drawing is supplied.
- the “Custom” price is applied if there
are less than or equal to 6 interior parts.
- the “Complex Custom” price is applied
if there are more than 6 interior parts.
- If a tray is over 4” high or not Lenga an additional
charge is applied.
- The standard for dimension ‘A’ is 3”.
- Vertical divider(s), dimension ‘B’, are evenly
spaced across the tray.

Stacked Cutlery
Tray, Slides |
| |
The stacked cutlery tray system
consists of a cutlery tray on top (that rolls back) and fixed
box dividers mounted to the bottom of the drawer box, running
front to back. When the drawer box is pulled open, the cutlery
tray is on the top; which can then be pushed back to expose
the divided spaces below the cutlery tray.
The stacked cutlery tray (Slides) is designed to fit inside
a standard drawer box using side mount drawer slides. It is
constructed the same as the “Cutlery Tray” with
the following exceptions;
- The bottom of the drawer box has fixed dividers that
run front to back.
- The height of the cutlery tray is fixed at 1-5/8”.
- The height of the fixed dividers is dependent on the
overall height of the drawer box.
- The width of the cutlery is 1” less than the inside
width dimension of the drawer box (the drawer slide would
require 1/2” of clearance on each side of the cutlery).
- The drawer slides are not included with the cutlery tray,
they would have to be purchased through your slide provider.

Stacked Cutlery
Tray, Groove |
| |
The stacked cutlery tray (Groove)
is designed to fit inside a standard drawer box using a groove
to slide in. It is constructed the same as the “Cutlery
Tray” with the following exceptions;
- The bottom of the drawer box has fixed dividers that
run front to back.
- The height of the cutlery tray is fixed at 1-5/8”.
- The height of the fixed dividers is dependent on the
overall height of the drawer box.
- The width of the cutlery is the same as the standard
“Cutlery Tray” (there is approximately 1/16” clearance
on each side between the cutlery tray and the drawer box).
- Drawer slides are not required for this design.
